Easter 08

Sorry this is a little overdue, but I realized it made more sense to post about Easter today. I had a lot of fun! The first thing we did was clean which wasn't so fun...but then we played with family, then trained Little Brother on how to find the plastic Easter-eggs for our hunt. After that I stuffed the eggs with whatever I could find that I thought fit (some things I made, some things I found in our Easter box), I'll admit Galaxy did one, and Little Brother did about three or four. So soon after we (me Galaxy and Little Brother) put makeup on (we would have used face paint but we couldn't find any...or maybe something happened to it...) so we looked like bunnies, and did a little bunny dance (that we named The Bunny Hop) to Peter Cottontail we had just made up the day before (which originally had just me and Galaxy, but Little Brother was just so cute we had to make him part of it), with also our home-made bunny ears and tails and some gloves. And finally we had our Easter egg hunt! It was inside and I ended up helping Little Brother a bit...and of course I have to let you know that I found the most eggs and here is a picture of what was in them:

Then we had home-made brownie/cake stuff and watched Nancy Drew. And that pretty much covers Easter this year...hope you enjoyed yours too!

The Problem Is Solved!

I've solved my blogging problems! It's not not working anymore! Anyway, tomorrow is Easter! Are you excited?! We're thinking about having a small plastic egg Easter-egg-hunt, but who knows? So nothing big this year...I'll probably have a longer post about my day tomorrow. Happy-Early-Easter!

(Would have posted this earlier, but my blog was NOT WORKING.) This time I'm supposed to do some alphabet thing.

B-Best friend: My sis, Galaxy.

C-Cake or Pie?: No brainer! Cake! What's so special about pie that makes it equal to cake?!

D-Drink of choice: Water. Not that I like water. I am furious with water. Because I'm always thirsty and water is the only thing that will quench my thirst. So water is my "drink of choice".

E-Essential thing used everyday: My bright shiny red bashed up Sigg water bottle.

F-Favorite color: Hot Pink (kind of obvious, take a look at my blog!).

G-Gummy bears or worms: Bears. When they're vegan.

H-Hometown: I was born in Corvallis, but I don't live there anymore. The end.

I-Indulgence: Potato chips.

J-January or February: Depends how they are in what year.

K-Kids and names: WHAT?!!!

L-Life: Different. Different from average. Considering I'm almost vegan (since we just don't buy plain honey and still have leather products left from before, we are not quite vegan...), home-schooled, don't eat hydrogenated oils, and we are starting to recycle cans. But I love my life and I'm very happy!

M-Marriage date: Give me a time machine!

N-Number of siblings: Three.

O-Oranges or apples: I like oranges in moms orange smoothies...but I think apples are the winners.

P-Phobias: Claustrophobia a bit. That's all I know of...(or can think of).

Q-Quote: I don't really like doing quotes. And the one I like is already used.

R-Reason to smile: When I'm scared, sad, or have an unsettling feeling, because smiling makes me feel happier. Anytime though really.

S-Season: Doesn't matter. As long as it's good weather. If it's cold I want it to snow. If it's hot I want to swim. I guess I like getting up early in the summer and going to the park.

Perfect Toast

Today I invented this delicious toast. I call it Apple Almond Cinnamon Pecan Toast, it's not that hard to make, and I'll even give you the recipe!

One peace of toast, golden brown in the middle.

A thin layer of almond butter (I'll admit I didn't come up with the almond butter part...it was mom's idea really...but I came up with everything else), make sure it's thin, or it might not taste as good.

One layer of Crofter's Organic Apple Jelly.

One crumbled Pecan, you can use more if you wish.

Sprinkles of Cinnamon, here's a picture to give you an idea:

So that's my toast recipe, it's good for a snack (or maybe some during breakfast) or a little dessert, hope you enjoy it (if you try it) as much as I do!

Not Working

For some reason my blog hasn't been working right...maybe it has something to do with the computer I'm working on. I've tried to post several times, but it just doesn't except (I'll be lucky if this one comes through). Anyway, Little Brother got his hair cut somewhat yesterday. I took a picture, hopefully you can tell it's different:

In case you can't read their name tags (which you probably can't read the one on the right considering that the flash is glaring on it, it's written in yellow--which is very hard to see--and to top it off I couldn't fit all the letters on it) the one on the left is Simon, the one in the middle is Janus, and the one on the right is Alexander. And if you're wondering, the duct tape on Alexander is supposed to be armor and the colored tape on the other people is clothes. I haven't found a way to officially stick their hair on, but when I do I'll probably post about it (which will most likely follow with how I made them in the first place).

Time Is Faster Now...

I've noticed that time has been passing a lot faster for me...I hardly have any time to do anything...fifteen minutes is like fifteen seconds...an hour just washes away like it never was there...I can't even keep track of the days. I haven't found the time to blog in a while (not that I've had much to blog about...except this). I wish that time would be slow again, I wouldn't mind if it felt like eternity when I'm bored...so long as it feels like eternity when I'm having fun. Just thought I'd share, since I can't think of anything else to post at the moment. Hopefully I'll find time to blog more!
